We are looking for an experience sales person with dual experience in managing regional sales for community in the healthcare sector & building strong relationships/partnerships with customers to cover Western part of the NL from North ( Noord Holland to to South ( Zeeland and partially Noord Brabant ( up to Tillburg).LOCATION: anywhere in the area to be coveredSUMMARY:Working to a business plan, the primary purpose is to maximise revenue of the key S&N brands through regular contact with target customers.The position is responsible for sales in the assigned area for the specific Advance Wound Management portfolio. The areamanager will be accountable for all Community sales in his/her area and a part on National level. The area manager specifically needs to sell/ deal with key decision makers including ao (Specialist) nurses, medical specialists, management (Care Managers) and purchasers/purchasing managers in the community, specialized woundcare centres and nursing homes.The area manager will be responsible for all sales administration, customer support, sales promotion. The area manager will need to define sales targets to achieve, to maximize company revenue and supports access to funding streams. The area manager will need to move towards decreasing the Human and Economic costs of wound care whilst at same time generating revenue and profitability for Smith & Nephew. The Area Manager Community operates under the supervision of Business Unit Director AWM.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:To achieve sales targets for defined territory and partly on country level.Acquire, maintain and keep up-to-date an in-depth knowledge of the territory, including information on customers, DMU, business potential, purchasing protocols, competitor activity and market trends.Continuously assess the territory and market to identify new business opportunities with existing customers and opportunities to add to the customer base.To constantly develop selling skills through ongoing development programs and field visits with BUD and KAM. To develop and implement a territory business plan in conjunction with your line manager and Key Account Manager Community and in line with the sales and marketing direction.To follow Company strategy, using approved marketing materials when dealing with customers.To liaise with colleagues from AWM and other parts of S&N and with local partners (e.g. Service Providers) to ensure cross-business opportunities within the territory are maximized.To hold clinical meetings/training sessions and product demonstrations to ensure the safe and effective use of S&N products.To complete all account records, CRM and administration tasks within the agreed deadlines and to the standard set in the SOP's.To use relevant business for expenses, sponsorship and events in line with relevant SOP's and Compliance Procedures.REQUIREMENTS:Travel: Domestic, up to 100%EducationHBO level working and thinkingExperience Proven DMU sales experience within the pharmaceutical/medical devices sales sector.Demonstrates an understanding of the challenges within the healthcare environment.Strong commercial acumen.Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships, both with clinical and non-clinical decision makers.CompetenciesSelf-motivated, strong communication/presentation skills and the ability to interpret data.Committed and motivated.ability to meet deadlines, frequent assignment changes and periodic heavy workload.ability to manage multiple and diverse tasks against tight timelines.OtherMicrosoft Office skills are essentialAdheres to the Health and Safety rules & regulations and environmental requirements relevant for this position.Applications: If you share our passion for pioneering innovation and can demonstrate how you meet the criteria outlined, we would love to hear from you.
