You will be accountable for the efficient operation of claims processing, globally, along with our external provider, and manage the relationship with our client, the US Defense Health Agency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an insurance background with superb stakeholder management skills, and experience of operations, continuous improvement and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesTasksLead claims innovations in processes and systems to improve the client, beneficiary and provider experience.Ensure proposed and required client contract performance standards and goals are achieved and exceeded throughout the contract.Lead or work with cross-functional teams to drive claims service-based innovations in electronic submissions and payments and portal improvement and increased usage.assume overall management responsibility for the management of the provider and their operational performance and reporting.Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities to ensure successful delivery of claims processing and service.Implement corrective action plans to solve organizational or departmental problems with respect either to systemic claims issues or critical one-off problemsClient & Stakeholder ManagementResponsible for developing and implementing a global engagement strategy that supports claims initiatives in close coordination with the the provider.Principal escalation point of contact for contractual and policy guidance relating to claims Responsible for managing and overseeing claims program management to ensure project/issues/initiatives are communicated, tasked and tracked to completion.Provider ManagementImplement plans to develop and manage service provider relationships with providers with respect to claims, working with regional and In Country resourcesLead direct reports and collaborate with matrix business partners to achieve high levels of quality and cost-effective service for claims submission, electronic payment, portal submission and issue resolutionResponsible for the implementation and oversight of claims education and communication program for providers & Government stakeholders.QualificationsStrong, proven leadership skills developed in an Insurance Company, preferably Life or Accident & Health business linesPronounced emotional intelligence and collaborative relationship builderExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skillsHoned communication skills, preferably with regional/global experienceInsurance Company career either with General Management/Insurance Operations experience including or managing an Insurance Claims functionDemonstration of strong relationship/client management experience, communicating with external stakeholders at all levelsEvidence of Senior leadership positions and deliveryAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & InclusionOur company brings together remarkable people and enables them to be themselves.
