As a technically minded Software Development Team Leader you will help to coordinate and drive activity and efforts of the team to deliver software solutions.
The Back Office Members team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the business’s operational tools that support the management of customer accounts to provide a great customer service.
The team also own the development of other key business aspects including external messaging, customer withdrawals and encryption.
Our technology stack is Microsoft, specifically the .NET Framework, WinForms, and SQL. You will also be involved with the early stages of our new architectural journey to introduce NoSQL, such as RIAK, and Go whilst continuing to evolve our Microsoft stack with .NET Core and Web UIs.

Ensuring timely provision of agreed deliverables throughout the SDLC by understanding both business and technical requirements. Working alongside Technical Leads and Architects to determine the most suitable technical solution. Scheduling and planning development resource according to business needs. Clear and regular tracking and reporting of progress. Mitigating risk and resolving blockers throughout the work. Collaborating with other teams within the business as required. Leading by example. Understanding and leading governance of best practises. Recognising team members’ strengths and mentoring them to encourage and support continuous improvement. Chairing team meetings, team one to one sessions and feeding into team appraisals.
